Parent Involvement Committee

The Parent Involvement Committee facilitates and encourages parent participation in school projects and events, building a sense of community among our families. This committee oversees and coordinates various activities in our school year, including the open houses, orientations, parent workshops, school picnics, the sing-along, and the fundraiser. Members of the Parent Involvement Committee organize the meals provided to the staff during parent teacher conferences and provide a welcoming presence to new families.

Room Parents

Each classroom has two Room Parents, who serve as a liaison to the parents from the staff and who instigate social events for the families in each classroom. As well, the Room Parents can check in with the teachers to see what material needs there are in the classroom and help to find parents who can sew, paint, repair, or build materials.
