Committees of the Board of Directors
The Parent Involvement Committee facilitates and encourages parent participation in school projects and events. We strive to build a sense of community among our families. This committee oversees and coordinates various activities and acts as hosts at school functions (open houses, orientations, parent workshops, family social events).
The Development Committee coordinates all fundraising efforts for MECC. It sets policies for receiving gifts and conducting fundraising. In consultation with the director of the school, it recommends to the board annual priorities for use of funds according to the school’s mission and plans. This committee approves all fundraising events, and may appoint ad hoc committees to implement specific events.
